Car tire pressure at high elevation

As I understood, the Lunar Rover used spring metal mesh wheels, not inflatable tires. Fixing a flat was not something that anyone wanted to do on the moon. In some photos, you can see the internal “tire” structure, it’s open. the downside is, apparently they threw up a lot of dust and twice a fender was broken on a vehicle.

Well, the Modular Equipment Transporter that I linked (used on Apollo 14) had inflatable tires.

For the Lunar Roving Vehicle used on the last three Apollo missions they developed the spun metal wheels.
