I can’t find this statistic anywhere. What pitcher holds the record for most career pickoffs?

Joey

This is one of those stats that Baseball didn’t start officially tracking until recently (last twenty years). According to [MLB.com](http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/stats/historical/player_stats.jsp?c_id=mlb&section2=1&statSet2=2&sortByStat=PK&statType=2&timeFrame=3&timeSubFrame=0&baseballScope=mlb&prevPage2=11&readBoxes=true&sitSplit=&venueID=&teamPosCode=all&HS=true) Mark Buehrle is the active “leader” with 40.
