You know, three years ago she was pretty much living in obsecurity. She came back to appear in the new Star War’s films. The work reinvigorated her life and career. She had just completed a book signing in Europe. Posting several photos and looking so happy. She died at a productive and peaceful time in her life. We’ll see her work again as the new movies are released. She’s been introduced to a new generation of fans that will remember her for years to come. RIP Carrie. ---

I’ve always associated this song with Carrie Fisher. I know it wasn’t written for her, but somehow it just expressed my young feelings for her in the early 80’s when her career seemed limitless. She was such a special star in those early years for Star Wars fans. That sucks, I wonder if there were plans for her in episode 9? Between all the deaths this year I think we can all agree: Doing hard drugs for 10 straight years or whatever does not equal a long life. I think this year was just the beginning… ---
