My girlfriend just made a good point regarding all the sad losses this year … All these celebrities couldn’t stand the idea of a 2017 with Donald Trump as president, so they moved on from this world. I guess that’s one way to look at it with a humorous spin.🙂 ---

BTW that link a few posts back goes to a joke article telling the “Breaking news” that guitarist Keith Richards was found still alive. After the nuclear apocalypse, all that will remain are roaches and Keith Richards. ---

I heard it on the radio – it started “Carrie Fisher” and I thought maybe the next line would be “has left the hospital” but unfortunately no. I actually thought “Noooo” like in whatever prequel that bad line was in (it expressed my feelings perfectly) I believe her scenes are done for Episode VIII. I hope they don’t CGI her in Episode IX. (I was fine for her 10 second appearance in R1). Brian ---

Damn. I just watched _Star Wars_ (aka “A New Hope”) for the 100th+ time yesterday. Such an iconic role, and in no small part due to her confident portrayal of Leia. I also recently watched one of the Hallmark/Lifetime cheesy Christmas movies, “It’s Christmas, Carol!” in which she played a cantankerous ghost. Feisty to the end. RIP Carrie. ---
