Well, it’s been over three days, and Johnny Hart is still dead. Somebody owes me ten bucks.
Cite?

I grew up in the area Johnny Hart lived and worked, and he gave a tremendous amount to the community and was very generous. He donated a lot of time and original art for various charities, and he designed the logos for about every event there was from the BC Open to the Spiedie Fest/Balloon Rally. Every single county park had his dinosaur as a mascot on it’s sign.
I know his stuff got very religious in the last few years, but fan or not, he’ll be missed terribly in the Southern Tier of NY.
Have you checked to see if the wooden stake is still in his heart?
It seems more to me that this was in the category of Look-you-clod-I-asked-you-a-civil-question. The blunt wording, which, oddly enough, came from an old Harvey comic, seems to fit here–posing a question to anti-creationists and gettting no answer, or an unacceptable impertinent one, in return. (I posed the simple qurestion in the first place in hopes of getting a straight answer, with no you-already-know-the-answer-so-I-don’t-have-to-say-anything. I’m not very good at clairvoyant understanding of implied answers. Hey, the very purpose if language is to communicate ideas–not relegate them to some kind of “code.”)
That would be a stake in the Hart.
