They filmed it like the animation of Speed Racer, so it would be a guy standing there with his mouth closed, then a shot of him with his mouth open, then they would just replay the two shots together and run really terrible dialogue over it. It was all filmed in front of blue screens of really terribly animated backgrounds. It worked really well like this, but I can be pretty sure that anything more than ten minutes of this would get really old really fast. Still, if you can find it, check it out. ---

I liked _The Tick_ live action show, mostly thanks to Patrick Warburton; the scenes where he attempted to absorb the concept of sex were great. Although I don’t know why they changed Der Fleidermaus to Bat Manuel. I once saw an animated movie called _Alakazam the Great_. I won’t describe how damaging it was as a cartoon, but if they ever make a live-action movie, the world will end and the stars will go out. ---

Granted, I was pretty toasted the last time I watched it, but those didn’t look like real people to me. (with the possible exception of Saddam!) 😃 ---

**Sam & Max**. I can imagine George Lucas spawning this mess(as he owns the rights)… Basically, he’d create CGI Sam & Max(with Sam looking suspiciously like Scooby-Doo with a hat, and Max like a bleached Ewok) who wander around and spout irritating one-liners. He’d be too afraid to capture any of the violent city jokes from the cartoons into the movie, so instead of stereotypical mobsters, there are bizarre(yet cute and marketable) aliens. And I shudder to think what he would put in place of the cockroaches. The TV show, while being animated, was bad too… live-action would be worse. ---

What dwc1970 is forgeting about the live action-ness of peanuts is that it went one step above live-action-film it went to a broadway play that actually was so well recieved that it got revived in 98 ---

Power Puff Girls (I Loved, thought it was gonna do better in the theatres) was a animated feature, not live-action. I’d have to go with Scooby Doo - I wish they had not made that movie, I hate the cartoon as it is. I hope they do not make a Ziggy. ---

Rugrats (remember Baby Geniuses? :shudder:) All the shows on the Sunday Adult Swim block. The shows are great because they are weird, campy, and short. Weird, campy, and movie-length seems like it would get old fast. The concept of a real action Aqua Teen Hunger Force with characters in suits, like the Reel Big Fish “Sell Out” video, makes me smile though. It would make an okay ending, but not a good movie. Mission Hill seems too Seinfeld-like to be made into a movie (90 minutes of nothing?). I second The Simpsons and Pokemon. Yu-gi-oh! would be neat if they could find the right writers. ---
