i was wondering the same thing before watching cass, sabrina, and the caine mutiny. bogey simply had enormous crowd pulling power. ---

Everybody steals the show. The entire cast spends their time on screen ripping the show from each other’s hands and ripping it back. Glorious. ---

I tuned in just in time for [this scene](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt1vQ81jNWw). Yes, the movie shows up often on TCM. But they ran a Conrad Veidt marathon a couple of weeks ago that showed the man’s range. (I love TCM.) ---

There is nothing to wonder about why this film rocks. Cool, tough guy Hot blonde Sneaky French and German sycophants Nazis A bar Bro man on the ivories. Face Punching and Gun Pulling. Oh yes, and with no fricking CGI and it’s in…shudder…BLACK AND WHITE… Gonna crank up my AppleTV and watch it tonight…
