Like a similar thread where there were some missing icons, my boggle lay in my smilies. In the place of the _Smack, kosher-boy, and wally_ is a indented box with a smaller white box with is red x in it. Anyone know aboutt his oddity? I’m running in straightdope mode with IE6…on a PC. ---

I’m not getting the following in my reply page (i.e. what I’m typing in right now): dubious smack orthodox jewish man wally In their place is the above text as links. This is using Mozilla and doesn’t matter which Board Style I’m using. Very strange. ---

The absence of these smilies has already been noted, in [a very recent thread.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=238468)
