It is. I’d also recommend Predestination (based on All you Zombies…) And, with reservations, The Puppet Masters (although that would have been a LOT better if they’d kept the future setting)
There’s also a short film adaptation of Life Line that I hjaven’t seen.
Besides those listed above, there’s also Paycheck, which isn’t all that bad.

Please name a book you could adapt well. I don’t think any really could be. Powers’ “secret history” and incorporation of other concepts makes for good books but I don’t see what would work well on screen.
Me? Not too likely. but Drawing of the Dark could be- fantasy horror.
“You” in the general of course. But that is one that came to mind along with The Anubis Gates. Even those are rather winding in their plots.
Anubis Gates is very dark horror-fantasy. Del Toro would be perfect.
