# Cashier makes an error in your favor, you say nothing, did you just steal?

Probably I have stolen the money but actually I would never have known it. I never check my change, and don’t pay with cash anymore anyway. It is just as likely that the store has cheated me, also, and again, I wouldn’t have noticed.
