I just saw Eamonn Walker (aka: Said) on ER… Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje (Adebisi) and Harold Perrineau (WAAAAAAALT!) are on Lost… J.K. Simmons (Schillinger) is on Law and Order along with Kirk Acevedo (Alvarez) who was on a few episodes… It seems the cast is pretty active… what other Oz cast sightings? ---

Lee Tergeson (Tobias Beecher) was a regular on Wanted, which ran for a season and a half on TNT or somewhere. Dean Winters (Ryan O’Reilly) is a regular on FX’s Rescue Me. I’ve seen the woman (the one who was executed) on one of the Law and Order shows, I think. When are they going to release the final season on DVD? What’s the hold-up? I missed it in the original run and have watched via Netflix. ---

Edie Falco is of course on _The Sopranos_. Ernie Hudson, Warden Glynn, was in _Lackawanna Blues_, which I saw recently. Lance Reddick plays Cedrick Daniels on HBO’s amazing _The Wire_, which should be back this year; J.D. Williams, who played Kenny on _Oz_, is also on _The Wire_ as Bodie. Rita Moreno has been on a few of the Law & Order spinoffs, as has Robert Clohessy. Lots of crossover between the Oz cast and the L&O shows; Lauren Velez and Kirk Acevedo have played lawyers on a couple of 'em too, and BD Wong was a doctor on SVU in a semi-recurring role. Scott Winters, Kirk Acevedo, J.K. Simmonds, all been on Numb3r5. Yeah, they’re all over the place. ---

I’m pretty sure that Scott Winters (Cyril O’Reilly) was guest starring as the father of a missing teenager tonight on CSI:Original Flavor. (In fact, I thought perhaps that is what prompted this thread…) J.K. Simmons was FEMA director or something similar on the meltdown episode of The West Wing a few weeks (or was it months?) ago. He’s forever Schillinger in my mind, even as Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Mans, so it was a bit jarring to see him show up in the Situation Room. 😃 ---

MAN!!! I loved OZ, and one of my favourite in-movie games was spotting people that were in OZ. I dont watch much TV these days, so I can only comment on what people were in, as apposed to what they star in now. Here are my favourite OZ-spotting moments… Schillinger showing up as Jonah Jameson, also in The ladykillers, and also showing up in Hidalgo. Beecher shows up in Monster… Not for very long though… Agustus takes Tank’s place on board the Neb in Matrix 2,3. Adebisi was spotted in The Bourne Identity and The Mummy Returns. Keller showed up in Runaway bride, and also Harold And Kumar. McManus was in Save the Last Dance. Alverez was in Band Of Brothers. Fr. Mukada was spotted in Executive Decision, and Father of the Bride, not sure if thats part one or two though… Cyril O’Rielly didnt like them apples in Goodwill Hunting. AND I spotted Rebedaeu in Trading Places! Man, I went nuts. I know I’m missing loads, as this is from memory. I didnt want to cheat and IMDB it. Anyone else go batshit when they spot actors from their favourite show in other roles? Probably not…
