# Cast I Dream of Jeannie feature movie

Seeing the Cast Bewitched movie thread and not wanting to hijack or sabotage that entry:
I thought how bout making I Dream of Jeannie into a feature movie.
I loved both shows, and as long as they in Hollywood doesn’t screw it up, I would watch.
Jeannie - Nicole Kidman both Good Blonde/Pink Jeannie and Bad Brunette/Green Jeannie.
Major Anthony Nelson - Russell Crowe, try Comedy something other than Drama.
Captain Roger Healey - not sure.
Colonel Bellows - not sure.
Blue Jin (The overseer of the Jeannie’s) - Vin Diesel.
Put Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman in as Cameo’s.
I’m not sure who else to cast.
What do you think.

I like Lisa Kudrow as Jeanie. The dad from That 70s Show as Col. Bellows. David Arquette as Maj. Healey, and Tom Hanks or Eddie Murphy as Maj. Nelson.

I think Jenna Jameson needs to play Jeanie. That would make the film a LOT more interesting.

Some more suggestions for the role of Jeannie:
Jenny McCarthy would be perfect with her over-the-top, vivacious personality.
Sandra Bullock - not an obvious choice based on her looks, but she’s got the right personality, too.
Halle Berry (I’d just love to see her in that outfit…mmmm)
Britney Spears (Ok, this is just turning into my personal fantasy)

When I saw this thread I thought “at last a movie that Britney spears might actually be good in.” It must be the belly button thing.
Barbara Eden might be talked into a cameo appearance, but I doubt if Larry Hagman would ever agree. He hated the show and hasn’t changed his mind.
I saw Bill Daley in person a couple of years ago. He has to be at least 70, but still looks pretty youthful. He could probably play the part of Bellows.

I think having Maj. Nelson explain this guy sharing his living quarters could be interesting, particulary if you have Maj. Healy with an unrequited case of the hots for Maj. Nelson.

It can’t be Brittany because the movie will have to feature the Cristiana song Genie in a Bottle and Brittany would not do it.
Plus I think you would have a hard time getting some of these choices saying the line “master”. Which, of course, she has to say.
