Everyone remembering to watch this tonight? Told all your friends to watch? This episode has the potential to bump the ratings up a bit with all the Firefly buzz… I hope it does. In addition to the obvious Firefly reference there’s something from the set of Firefly that Nathan Fillion has placed on the set of Castle somewhere that I think we may see tonight. Firefly fans may also be interested to know that next week’s episode was written by Jose Molina who wrote the Firefly episode Ariel and co-wrote Trash as well as being Story Editor for the whole series. ---

I think the rest of the costume may be an imitation, though, the coat doesn’t look quite right. Honestly though, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fillion managed to get the original costume and gun. ---

Fillion is a huge Firefly nerd. Several cast members have confirmed that he kept tons of costumes and props. Jewel Staite said that she’s been to his house on numerous occasions where he dressed up in the costume. Of course, she also said that she caught him in one of Morena Baccarin’s gowns… It’s the original costume. It’s probably been, er, let out a bit since then. ---
