What is the story behind the Castle of Muskogee [http://www.thecastle.org/index.html](http://www.thecastle.org/index.html) ? Was this built from the ruins of a real medieval castle brought over to Oklahoma for a home by some 1920’s oil baron or was it strictly made for a tourist attraction? If it was built from the ruins of a real castle then where is this castle from, what was it’s name, and what is it’s real history?

If there was an interesting history to it (like not being totally fake) I imagine it would have been on the web site.

There’s an email address on the website, maybe they will answer queries about its history.

There’s also a link to the “Castle Bulletin Board”, maybe someone there knows.
