Tivo for **Rebo** fits perfectly! I am the owner of the 'mote in our house… but I share. Mr. Rebo is actually installing parts under the sink to fix the leak. Before 1:00 pm on a Saturday, even! He’s not even cussing! He took pictures of the old parts on the digital, before he went to buy new parts at Lowe’s. Guess who’s idea that was? 😃 So maybe things will be all fixed soon, then I can find something else to nag him about! 😉 I’m kidding! I’m a great wife - just bitchy enough! Heh. Oops - there he goes cussing - I better check on him… ---

I’m back! And not really in too much pain. Of course the nap I took when I got home helped a lot. This lot was easier to unload than the last batch I unloaded - this was a pallet of canned food and two pallets of dry food in boxes. Boxes and cases of canned food are much easier to unload than bags! I did accept a case of canned food for my efforts; the fuzzbutts will get it for treats occasionally. When they’re good. Wait a minute; that means they’d never get any. Ok, when they’re mostly good. It’s 72 degrees here. In January. Something just isn’t right about this weather. I need to make a run to the liquor store for ingredients for a listening-to-the-hockey-game adult beverage for tonight. ---

Kiln is loaded, plumbing is installed, and a pot of chili is simmering on the stove. I don’t like the stuff, but \*\*FCD \*\* does, so I made a big batch for him. I want to do a little research before firing the kiln, but it’ll go overnight. That cold snap that’s slithering bilthely down from the west coast is heading northeast and into my neck of the woods soon enough, wherein there will probably be snow and/or freezing rain. There is an imposing “Wintry Mix” icon with the word “ICY” in a snowy/rainy cloud on the weather plugin on my PDA. Yecch. I think El Niño has finally worn out its welcome and is presently getting bitch-slapped. Pity, I was enjoying spring. ---

According to the Weather Channel Online, it is supposed to be 80 degrees here on Monday. This is just wrong. I’m sure I’m not the only MMPer who has to wear glasses, at least for reading. How do my glasses get smeared when I don’t touch the damned things? And how do these cats know there is a case of canned cat food in the Jeep? They have been right up under me ever since I got home. ---

I have made the unfortunate discovery that store brand whomp biscuits _are even worse_ than Pillsbury! :eek: You’re welcome. How can something be greasy and dry at the same time? In fact, how are they allowed to call them biscuits at all? I am supremely lazy today (hence whomp biscuits), but I’m considering getting dressed and going somewhere. Or maybe I’ll stay home and read The Worst Case Scenario Almanac: History. You never know when you’ll be sealed inside a pyramid or need to know how to circle the wagons or survive a dance marathon. ---

I survived the search training exercise, and passed the written exam; woohoo! I even signed up for the EMT-B(asic) class, when I expected to do it next year. They need 15 names to bring the class to the county instead of going elsewhere. No students were eaten, but there were a couple that I would not have minded 😉 Insurance check came today; refrigerator safari tomorrow. ---

Is it bedtime yet? Please? I’ve given up on getting anything accomplished today; any time I try to do _anything_, I get interrupted. It’s completely ridiculous. Maybe I can sleep uninterrupted, you think? Nah, who am I kidding? Papa Tigs will probably get _more_ phone calls from his now former employees and coworkers. He’s already gotten three today. Even though he answers with, “I don’t work here any more!”, it doesn’t stop them. :rolleyes: So this means that when we get lost in the woods, you can find us, right, **Bobbio**? I should clarify a bit more. We have _been_ friends since last September. I was hoping there was something more … the other thing I should mention is that I already have at least two dozen female friends, some of them quite close platonically. As nice a friend as she is to have, I’m not really in the market for another one. I need more. And I certainly can’t fault her, or any of the other girls that weren’t interested for not being interested. So, I ask you, who does that leave? ---
