# Cat Photos Needed!

Hey everyone! I have been looking on Google Images and on various sites that have lots of cat photos, but I know that it’s a really common theme around here and figured I’d give this a shot as well.
I’m making a new painting for class, and laying out what I want it to look like in Photoshop first, then I will use that as my reference to paint from. In the painting, (which is a complicated assignment requiring a self portrait, at least two other people, both inside and outside, a phrase, elements of 16th/17th century Italy, a secret passage, and some sort of “treasure hunt”) I want to have three cats. These will be the treasure hunt elements. They will not be super obvious parts of the painting, but they will interconnect in that I want it to be obvious that they are all playing with each other. Each will be hiding somewhere, looking for the others.
So. I need some good reference photos of cats. The three places I was thinking of putting them would require these three pictures:
1. a cat on some sort of ledge, peeking over, seen from below (this cat will be on a balcony)
2. a cat peering around something (this one will be behind my chair)
3. a cat jumping/climbing off of something (this one is coming out of a window)
So… anyone have any good kitty photos that match those ideas?

i’m pretty sure \*\*mr bus guy \*\* has a great one of his boy cuervo peering over a ledge or something (i think) at the camera. i have one of turk at the top of my staircase, but the perspective probably is too low for what you want.

I’ve just looked through all my galleries of pet pictures and apparently, my cats are…lumps. Not one action photo in the bunch.

Ok just to be a little more specific, the one on the ledge is going to be looking off of a balcony, at another cat. Not at the viewer (i.e. the camera). It needs to be looking at least somewhat to the side and down.

If you don’t mind the fact that he’s about to rip your face off and play with the tattered remnants like it was a ball of yarn, perhaps [this pic of Boo](http://www.sirblah.com/photo/view.php?album=Pets&mode=&pic=pets24.JPG&picindex=23) will suffice.

No, again as I said the cat is on a ledge, viewed from the side, looking down at another cat. I can’t use a picture where the cat is looking at the camera–it’s completely the wrong angles and doesn’t show what I need. But that is one evil looking cat! :eek:
I could just make these up but they’d look a lot better if I had actual photos of cats in a similar position to base them off of.
Mr. Bus Guy - your album is awesome! I’ve saved several of the pictures and think I will be able to use them to help with what I need. That specific ledge shot is probably going to be the hardest. **SnakesCatlady** has ledges that she built in her office for her cats. She may have something similar to what you’re looking for. I’ll PM her a link to this thread.
Seems to me that **EddyTeddyFreddy** might have some that fit your description too.
