Cat up our tree (need answer kinda fast)

Healthy young cats can manage amazing jumps. And even a bit of snow on the ground probably cushioned the landing.

Glad the cat got down safe, hope the cat gets home safe, and thank you both for your efforts and for reporting back to us!

That’s how my mother got my cat out from inside of the car’s dashboard on one visit. It was so far up inside there that when I opened the glove box I could see his orange fur sticking out. My mom calmly opened a can of tuna and set it outside of the car and in a few minutes he was chowing down.

What I didn’t realize is that while climbing up inside of there, he had also pulled a connection apart that controlled the car’s defroster. When we left there, we had to climb up over the Siskiyou Mountains, where it was snowing. The windshield started icing up and guess what? Luckily, I was able to spot the dangling wires very close under the steering column and reconnect them.

“Comrade Fluffski, is there any progress in your plan to overthrow your human oppressors?”

“Da. I was discovered while sabotaging their vehicle, but I was able to pass it off as curiousity and extort a can of tuna from them. The driver will be completely blinded during their next trip in bad weather.”

“Excellent work, Fluffski; will look like accident.”

Not much of a plan if you can’t somehow contrive NOT to be in the car when it happens.
