There is a gap under my bathroom door just big enough for a cat’s paw. Now every time I head to the bathroom for any length of time, Tate hangs out outside the door, hoping I’ll take the feather wand toy (that I keep in the bathroom for this purpose) and run it along the bottom of the door so he can flail his paw madly under the gap and try to catch it. Strangely, he doesn’t like this toy unless it’s under the bathroom door. If I don’t play with the toy, he’ll sometimes randomly grope under the door anyway. ---

The cat’s welcome if my wife isn’t home. We don’t crap with the bathroom door open and the cat just about always wants out before I’m done. If I’m home alone, no problem, perch on the sink and get petted while I take care of this vile human business, Your Highness. ---

She likes it when I rub the blush brush over her whiskers. heh. the superkitties have a long tradition of bathroom antics - and the poke the shower monster routine is maggie’s numero uno on her hit parade. she’ll sit on the toilet and just stare at me in the tub. once and only once as a kitten she tried to walk on the bubbles. 😃 the little dickens has also figured out that if she startles me i’ll make noise. aparently she finds that gratifying in the extreme. extra points are scored if she can knock my wine glass (plastic. learned that lesson ages ago) into the bath water. 😛 a past superkitty was also fascinated by my morning makeup routine. the minute i’d sit down to start applying, there he’d be, on my makeup table. he’d watch me do eyeshadow, then he’d reach out a paw very carefully and pat the little container every time i dipped the applicator. ---

She gets up on both hind legs and hugs my leg and I scratch her head, either sitting or standing. ---
