In a breif mention in Discovery magazine, they note that the University of California has found the countries with a high rate of toxoplasmosis (from a cat bourn parisite) have a high rate of neurosis.

Cats cause neurosis!!!  
I always knew it.

Jokes aside, I wonder if there’s some sort of feedback loop going on with the stereotypical crazy cat lady. She’s got cats, they make her a bit off, she gets more cats, they make her a bit more off…

My cats make me neurotic by staring at the closet like there’s something in there, it has nothing to do with toxoplasmosis.
