However briefly… A couple of days ago, I posted [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=450406) about the weird behavior of my cat Peanut. In post number 19, **Boscibo** pleaded (demanded?): “You need to give up everything for the next 24 hours until you get that picture!” Okay, so it’s more than double the allowed time, but I finally did it! At last, I’ve caught [Mr. Jazz Paws in action!](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2X4my_FEFQ) Um, yes. Yes, it is only four seconds long, and half of that is slewing away from the star of the show. :o Be gentle – it’s my first YouTube video, shot on an elderly low-end digital by someone who is NOT skilled at using it for anything but still shots. Nevertheless! Peanut has been captured in mid-flail. ---

Thanks for being so kind. That truly is a horrible video! :eek: One positive thing, though: One of the links that comes up after my pitiful four-seconder plays is to “Wake up Cat”, the cartoon of the cat waking up its human. Hilarious, and I hadn’t saved the YouTube link when I first saw it. So I’ve been able to grab the URL for that and email it to myself. 😃 ---

It’s a catly benediction, a blessing to all his surroundings. _nod_ It does look like a “Thank you, thank you!” type gesture, or a “Bless you all, every one!” finishing touch. It has an “Ok, I’m done now” feel to it, look at his expression, that is what he is saying. It also almost looks like some kinds of human dancing, or excercise routines. How much of a mimic is he? Does he see humans dancing or excercising in ways similar to that? ---
