[George W. Bush To Keynote Cayman Islands Investment Conference](http://www.buzzfeed.com/rosiegray/george-w-bush-to-keynote-cayman-islands-investmen) > [@](#): > > The timing of the conference could land awkwardly during an election season that’s been marked by speculation about Mitt Romney’s finances, particularly his offshore investments in tax havens like the Cayman Islands. We’ve had Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, and other politicos come for similar speeches. Didn’t raise an eyebrow. The speech is on the closing night of a Legends tennis tournament with Martina Hingis and Mark Philippoussis amongst others. (The two events are unrelated, but are at the same hotel.) That passes for good entertainment around here.
