# CBS News : What The Hell?

CBS News seems to be tanking faster than if there is dried cement on their feet and they’ve been dumped into the East River. Down more than 15% in a week? Ooopsies…

The newsradio station here in Chicago – WBBM – is a CBS Radio affiliate; they were directly owned by CBS until about a decade ago (when CBS spun off all of their radio stations).

They made a statement today saying that they have no plans to change away from their all-news format, even though they will be losing the CBS network segments, including the top-of-the-hour national news segments.
