[Here](http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/26/business/media/26cbs.html)’s a link to an article from the New York Times saying that cancelling the next season’s episodes will mean a loss of about $250 million in revenues (between Warner Bros, which is the production company, and CBS, which airs the show). The article also says, “the most likely outcome of the confrontation is an untimely end of the series” although it says the decision won’t be made until May.

Keep Cryer and the kid and call it “Two Men”.
I love sitcoms, even crappy ones, but this one never struck a chord with me. Charlie’s personal life is far more entertaining.

Or, send Charlie off somewhere off-screen (bender, rehab, whatever), and replace him in the house with Martin Mull, who is absolutely excellent as the complete reprobate pharmacist.

Or replace Charlie with a different actor every week, no explanation. One week it’s Jerry O’Connell, the next Scott Baio, then John Hurley… just keep it going.
Charlie says he **is** [going to work next week](http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2011/02/charlie-sheen-tells-gma-he-will-show-up-for-work-despite-suspension-of-two-and-a-half-men.html). It’ll be interesting to see if he shows up and if so if he gets arrested.

I suspect he’s had his parents, his agent, and everyone else around him - including Jon Cryer, Chuck Lorre, and Conchita Farrel - pointing Charlie out as a bad role model since the show started…

I stopped watching the series part way through the series Chelsea was introduced.
I couldn’t believe she was the woman to end all women for Charlie, the kid wasn’t cute any more, rare appearances by Rose & it just generally wan’t funny any more.
Just kill it find another vehicle for Jon Cryer. & a separate one for the actress who plays Bertha.

Possibly for less than a couple of days only… Should you glance at Mr. Hitchens’ rather tired **[rant](http://www.slate.com/id/2286522/)** on Slate against Mr. Obama for not leaping on a bandwagon and giving the Tyrant of Libya a good thrashing instanter, half way down the page is a small flash video screen. Select ‘Charlie Sheen’s Rant Animated’, and you will see two tiny teddy-bears delivering the dialogue betwixt Messrs. Jones & Sheen.

Why not cancel Two and a Half Men and the current William Shatner vehicle and give Charlie his own show called “Shit Our Sheen Says” and just let him rant and riff for a half hour at a time?

So Charlie Sheen thinks that the way to get back on the show is to insult its creator even more, and demand a lot more money.
I think he missed the part where it was cancelled because he was insulting people and making unrealistic demands.

I confess that I was amused watching the celebrity meltdown - at first. But I just saw a snippet of his interview on one of then news shows and now I just feel sad for him. He is clearly in need of help.
