John’s an old friend of mine (she says, name-dropping shamelessly). He’s been working on this for years (funding troubles). I think it’s about a film student who kidnaps his favorite star and forces her to be in his low-budget movie. I might add that John has YET to cast ME in one of his films . . . Too gorgeous and mainstream, I guess . . .
