And speaking of big yellow birds, today is also the birthday of Big Bird, from another area of Make-Believe. No one knows exactly how old he is. As for Carroll Spinney, his spokesperson, no birth data seems so be available. Actually, Carroll Spinney was interviewed on A&E Sunday night, and he said that they currently think of Big Bird as a 6 year-old. This is based on the things he knows, and the way he reacts to various situations, and is quite important to the writers of the show. (He was considered to be about 4 1/2 when the series started over 30 years ago… obviously “big bird years” are a little different from “human years”)

Thanks to all who wished us a happy b-day.
I went out to dinner and had lobster and stuff. Drank about 5 beers and was feeling no pain. I feel great this morning though;I’m having a piece of birthday cake with my coffee—Yum Yum whipped cream frosting.
