I’m with you. It’s as if I posted a Calvin and Hobbes comic on my Facebook only to have everyone falling over themselves to declare I was in breach of copyright.

It’s a really common thing in the blogosphere - not that this in any way excuses it, but it’s not uncommon for bloggers to consider anything they can copy and paste fair game.
I thought there was some guy on here who got one from an Otaku supply depot. But I don’t know where to get such.
…and if you copied the entire work without permission (and Bill Watterson doesn’t give permission to almost anyone, IIRC) then you are in violation of copyright. What’s the factual dispute here?
