# Cecil wrong about Chinese jumpers?

From the [archives](http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_155.html), Cecil discusses the effect of the entire population of China jumping up and down at the same time.

Essentially he says that not much would happen

slip ups like these are what offer me an insight into the dumbest smart people on the net. oh how i love the SDMB 🙂 the daftness and intelligence on this board amazes me.
