Way back in the AOL-based days, I recall the opening page of The Straight Dope having an animation of a throbbing brain in a jar. Where did this go?

Close. The AOL version really did throb.

I’m not sure I’m ready for this one!  
Even the blinking ads for that Hit-the-Monkey game make me nauseous. I’d like to find an antidote for blinking:D
