Power Tower is somewhat like the Demon Drop, but a different ride. PT is chairs open to the air, not a “car” style ride. PT is 100 feet taller and has two “modes” of operation, Up and Down. No one rides the DD anymore, but it’s still around.

I second the cooler idea. We always take a lunch and break about midday. You are allowed to go in and out of the park. That is a very good thing. Food inside the park is expensive especially if you are bringing a lot of kids.
Also, any of restaurant have to provide free water with ice upon request if they serve other fountain drinks. They might give you the stink-eye. But if you have kids it sure beats $2 for bottle of water.
We also go around September. It’s cooler and there are less people. But, we’ve gone on Sundays without too much trouble before too.
If you ride the Raptor at the front of the park first, it will make the small rides seem tame. But boy is it smooth and FUN. The Millenium is a good time too. Our wait was only 45 minutes, well worth it.
Oh yeah some credit unions buy tickets in lots to get a cheaper price. I know ours does and I’ve seen ads for other, so if you are a CU member check them out.
HAVE FUN
Yeah, Cliffy, the last time I was at Cedar Point (last summer), our group would ride the Gemini, get off at the end, and go around to entrance line and get right back on again. I think we rode it three or four times in a row, with almost no time waiting in between. Sure, it’s not as exciting as the Millenium Force and the Raptor, but as long as you ride those two once each, you can ride the Gemini roughly eight thousand times on a weekday. Plus you can keep splitting your group up in different ways to see who wins the race
