Okay, so I’m celebrating my 50th post with this lil thread. To most of y’all I realize that’s an awfully low number, but I try and pride myself on quality, not quantity in posts.

/eyes dashing side-to-side…Anyone buying that?

Anyway, I have an interview this afternoon at an organization whose ethical principals I support (PCRM) so I’m hoping to do well–plus, it would be a job–which is of the good to me.

So, anyone want to help me celebrate my meager posting record with cheerful thoughts, chanting, etc., etc., for a good interview? Chips and beer (root and the other kind) available for nibbling and sipping by those who wish to participate. :slight_smile:

I’ll chime in with a congrats on your 50th post. I just hit the big 5-0 today myself. I agree completely with your sentiment. Quality over quantity. Yesiree. Oh, who am I kidding…

Oh, and I’ll take a beer (not root, but the other kind) since you offered. Good luck with the interview!

And if you have to think about which is more important to you, you’ve got serious problems.

Remember, in your interview, you aren’t allowed to bring up the most important question of all…

NO, NOT “how much money do I make?”

It’s “Do you have the internet here, and can I use it for personal purposes on company time?” :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the cheers and all. The interview went well (though…why do I always come up with “the perfect words” to “sell myself” after I leave?). They really liked my portfolio, and I was actually kind of impressed to meet the organization president, who’s a nationally recognized author (or at least is in the national AR arena). They loved my portfolio and graphic work but seemed concerned the job might be too administrative and boring for me. She has more interviews but e-mailed me yesterday to get some additional work samples.

Also in the news, I have another interview scheduled for Monday morning in the heart of DC. <Phew!> They actually seemed very enthusiastic on the phone when I spoke with them, which is nice…

Thanks again for positive thoughts…and Satan, I’ve got a great tofu-dog already on the grill for ya! :wink:
