And frankly it’s not hard to understand. I recall when I was a little kid there was an old house with windows that were broken. We kids would go over and throw rocks at the windows. Even though most of the window was already broken, we wanted to see if we could break it more. And you know what? It was FUN. Yes it was fun to throw rocks at a broken window to break it even more. Of course I was eight at the time, but I think when you get drunk, you tend to revert to simpler times. Then even if you’re not drunk you suddenly get caught up in group mentality. Then the line of reason goes like this Drunk guy breaks window and non-drunk guy is happy and he says “Gee you know what, that window is already broke, so why don’t I throw a rock and break it some more.” What I never understood is why people yell “We won.” You didn’t win, the players won, you watched.
