John Travolta. Oddly I suspect he is a fine actor, everyone says so. I cannot get over his enthusiasm for Scientology. ---

I have always despised Woody Allen. When the whole Soon-Yi bruhaha broke out, it did not lower my opinion of him one bit, as he was already at the bottom. I put Jerry Seinfeld in the same catagory, and wouldn’t be surprised if a huge scandal broke out about him. ---

**Chris Katan**. I generally try to watch the first couple of episodes each new season of Saturday Night Live, just to see if it’s gotten better, but the first time I saw this prick I turned the channel, and I have not returned to the show. He’s not funny, he doesn’t strike me as very bright, and he has a perpetual wise-ass look on his face that would be OK if he was a clever wise-ass, or a funny wise-ass. But he’s not. Then they had to go and put him on, “Celebrity Poker Showdown.” The only reason I watched that game was because Katan so obviously sucked at poker, that Phil Gordon and Dave Foley were making fun of him the entire time he was playing. I just cannot stand this human being. ---

I second the following – Kid Rock, Eminem, Mel Gibson, Dennis Miller, Meryl Streep, the Rock, Barbra Streisand, Bruce Willis, Madonna, Ben Stiller (although I love his performances), Adam Sandler, Arnold Schwarzenegger No one in the world rubs me wronger than George W. Bush – everything from the way he talks to the way he walks to his facial expressions makes me just want to smack him hard ---

I considered starting a similar thread a few days ago merely to mention **Sally Field**. She makes me want to punch the television. I have liked some of her movies but something about that woman brings out my homicidal tendencies. ---

thankfully he hasn’t been seen in anything recently, but i loathe pauly shore, i just want to punch him billy-boy gates, loathe him, spit on the ground he walks on, cheered when he got pied… steve jobs (currently starring as Evil Steve), a glorified salesdrone/suit who’s been riding on his fame for far too long, and is slowly becoming far more evil than gates, when it comes to the Apple retail market (but that’s a rant for the BBQ Pit…) Paul Reubens in his pee-wee herman role, i’d like to strap him to a thermonuclear device, he was okay as the overacting vampire in the insipid Buffy movie… oh, that reminds me, the actress who played Buffy in the original BTVS movie… \ Matt Damon!\ 😉 ---

Anyone that uses their standing as an actor or singer to promote some political agenda. They usually don’t know what they are talking about and it can only hurt their carreer. Its vocational suicide. Just ask the Dixie Chicks. ---

I’ll second Sandra Bernhard. And Woody Allen (hey, Woody, “neurotic” stopped being cute 35 years ago, as did griping that kids today have no taste in music.) Which brings me to Andy Rooney, who does similar “How can you call that music?” type rants, along with loads of other completely unfunny commentaries. (I once heard him complain that Thiamin and Riboflavin were in his food. Uh, Mr. Rooney, those are B vitamins. They help your brain to function. I can see you need a good dose of them.) I don’t like Rosie O’Donnell–she reminds me of the unfunny drunk who bothers everyone at a cocktail party. I don’t like Cybil Shepherd either, though it’s been so long since I’ve even seen a picture of her that I can’t remember why. ---

Most celebrities bug me. I just can’t seem to care about the ones I’m supposed to care about! **Roadfood, Wolfmeister** : Thank for mentioning the people I came to mention! I am no longer alone in my disdain. Bruce Willis. I hate him, hate him, hate him. Wolfmeister gave reasons, I need none. I don’t even understand why I hate him, but killing Alan Rickman in Die Hard certainly didn’t help any. Johnny Depp. I remember watching 21 Jump Street and trying to decide who was hotter, Peter DeLuise or the Oriental guy. Turned out it was the Oriental guy. Johnny who? ---

I heard Rosie was giving Kirstie Alley a hard time about her supposed weight at her fattest. Kirstie claims to have been 201 pounds at her fattest and Rosie doesn’t believe that, she thinks Kirstie was closer to 300 because Rosie herself is about 224. I’ve seen pics of Kirstie at her fattest and she was never fatter than Rosie.
