Sandra Bernhard does have a surprisingly good singing voice. Her CD “Excuses for Bad Behavior” is worth getting for the combination of Hendrix’s “Maniac” with Jesus Christ superstar’s “I Don’t Know How to Love Him.”

I would also like to nominate the woman (no idea what her name is) that Fox News drags out for political panel discussions now and then. I believe she was a strategist for the Clinton presidential campaigns, and has a voice that sends me sprawling for the almighty mute button every time. A strong nasal accent with a raspy throat. Fran Dresher meets Bonnie Tyler. Oh, the pain! The pain!
