Shu Qi, probably best known in the west as “the girl in the trunk” in **The Transporter** and Jackie Chan’s girlfriend in **Gorgeous** , did some prior Category III work in Hong Kong. for example, \*\*Sex and Zen II \*\* (highly recommended, by the way!) and **Viva Erotica**. She also has done some nude fashion/glamour shoots. I’ve got a coulple of them on DVD as well. ---

I got one for you. Rue McClanahan of the Golden Girls was in two sexploitation flicks back in the 60s: “Five Minutes To Love” and “Hollywood After Dark.” It wasn’t software as we now know it, but there was nudity and sex so what the hell. ---

Back in the '70s the line between legitimate and porn actors was a little more blurred than it is today. Andrea True managed bit parts in _40 Carats_ and _The Way We Were_ and TV commercials while she was doing porn. She also managed to breathe her way through a top 10 disco song. Georgina Spelvin continued working on the New York stage while she was doing porn. She’s had a couple of small roles in non-porn films, as well. Angelique Pettyjohn, _Star Trek’s_ original alien chick in the metal bikini, managed to do some TV, B-movies **and** porn while also working as a Las Vegas showgirl. ---

I remember because the video store let me rent it when I was 13. Whoa. That was an awesome video store. It was the first time I had heard the term “cum”. Not even really softcore, but Dean Butler (Little House on the Prairie, the New Gidget) was in a movie called “Married People, Single Sex 2”, using a stage name (Sam Something that began with an S). A bunch of my LH friends and I rented it one night, and got a hoot out of it. It’s pretty dumb and full of bad acting, but it was hilarious watching “Almanzo” playing this character who wasn’t wild enough for his kinky wife, and has to figure out what to do about it.
