Celebrities who've been in (soft) porn....

Gillian Anderson was topless for a while in her debut in The Turning (maybe 20 seconds). Although the rest of the movie is pretty lame.

I sure hope she didn’t <a href=“Bite the Wax Tadpole | Snopes.com”>Bite the Waxed Batpole</a>. (makes drum punchline noises) duhn duhn-chih

I think you mean “emetic.”

Brooke Shields in Pretty Baby came pretty close to porn in my opinion.

But since I’m in here…I haven’t seen anyone mention Brooke Shields in “Pretty Baby.” I’m not sure whether it would qualify as “(soft) porn,” but there was nudity and implied sex and Brooke was only twelve years old at the time.

And it had Huggy Bear! That’s gotta count for something.

Wow- simulpost!

Simulpost!

Another one! :D:D:D

I think this thread will determine the ultimate level of Netflix’s usefulness.

Why am I picturing a beginning to a Simpsons episode in which Bart is writing over and over:

Nudity is not porn.
Nudity is not porn.
Nudity is not porn.

:smack:

Er, under the names

Michelle Bauer
Kim Bittner
Michelle McClellan
Michelle McClendon
Michelle McLellan
Michelle McLelland
Pia Sands
Pia Snow

She’s done a LOT.

I didn’t know who Michelle Bauer was, but I knew that Pia Snow and Pia Sands were the same person.

Off the top of my head, Daryll Hannah was in a soft-core film called “Summer Lovers” - lots of nudity and group sex.

Well, it’s true…as well it should be.

What’s wrong with you people? A movie with lots of sex scenes in not soft-core porn!!! Summer Lovers was not porn, regardless of the fact it’s got like 6 sex scenes and lots of nudity. Embrace of the Vampire, while hot, isn’t even in the same planet as porn. As I see it those movies use sex to sell a sub-par, low budget movie. A B-movie indeed, but not soft-core porn.

Red Shoe Diaries is soft-core porn. The Emannuelle Series is indeed soft-core porn. Lady Chatterly’s Lover is soft-core porn. In those movie the plot itself serves as nothing but a device to bridge the sex scenes.

On that note, I give you Emmanuelle In Space featuring the utterly and overwhelmingly gorgeous Krista Allen.

Bob Guccione’s Caligula featured many ‘real’ actors, including Malcolm McDowell, Helen Mirren, and Peter O’Toole.

You raise an interesting point, fact is, there’s no clear demarcator between softcore porn and mainstream movies any more. On the one hand, you have films like “Body Heat” and “Basic Instinct” which have strong sexual elements, but which most people would unhesitatingly concede are mainstream films. On the other hand, you have films like “The Key To Sex” and “I Like To Play Games, Too,” which most people would readily identify as softcore but which have fun elements (frex, “Key To Sex” is actually lighthearted fun and works on its own terms as a bedroom farce, and “I Like To Play Games, Too” has a fascinating concept for its central character – an ad agency owner who is so into games that she dumps her clients as soon as she beats them at a game).

Probably deserves its own thread, so I’ll start one.

Does anyone know anything about Janet Banzet who was in many porn movies of the 60’s . One of her last before she killed herself was " The Party at Kitty and Stud’s" in 1970. I can not find an obit. She died in New York ,but is buried in Los Angeles.

Whoa, I didn’t realize this was a zombie thread until I saw Eve’s name. Eve’s back! Yay! :frowning:

Does Camille Grammer count? She’s Kelsey Grammer’s ex and is something of a celebrity. She was Camille Donatucci before.

I vaguely remember a documentary about the Friends cast which mentioned that Matt le Blanc did softcore porn for a while. It didn’t mention any titles, though.

One of them was an episode of Red Shoe Diaries.
