# Celebrity Biographies & Autobiographies

There is a new book out by Crystal Zevon - the ex-Mrs. Warren Zevon. I’m a pretty big fan, so I was interested when I heard about it this AM.

Apparently, before his death, Zevon gave his journals & blessings to the ex and asked that she write a “warts and all” book. I’ve read the few reviews on the Amazon site, as well as comments at [warrenzevon.com](http://warrenzevon.com)

I’m now unsure if I want to read it. I mean I know he was a complicated man with a lot of problems he had apparently managed to overcome before his death; I’m not naive enough to think he was Donny Osmond. I just kind of got queasy reading some of the quotes & comments.

Have you ever regretted reading a celebrity bio/autobiography? I mean I’ve read Barbara Payton’s “autobiography” and I know there’s a new bio of her due out this year, but it seems to me that the Zevon one just is not something I want to get into.

Anyone have similar experiences?
