I was all set to hop on a soapbox about not calling it ‘cleavage’ if they’re not touching when I thought to check the definition first. Something called WordNet agrees with me, specifically “the line formed by a groove between two parts (especially the separation between a woman’s breasts)” but American Heritage defines it as “The hollow between a woman’s breasts, especially as revealed by a low neckline.” I’ve always used it as line, not hollow, I’m so confused! ---
