I am pretty much copying my list from last year. Don’t feel like doing the research to make up a whole new list. Also, since Mindy McCready was on my 2012 list and I dropped her in favor of the themed list…Oh well. Lessons learned.

> Ok, I can’t resist with this Schumacher thing. Baker, please substitute Michael Schumacher for Glen Campbell. I have a feeling Alzheimer’s won’t take Glen so quickly

He started showing Alzheimer’s symptoms way back in 2003, according to what I was reading yesterday. And his ‘battle’ with Alzheimer’s (news reports use that word, but how the hell do you battle Alzheimer’s?) has been public since 2011 or earlier; that year, his daughter testified before a Congressional committee to urge more funding for Alzheimer’s research. (I’m a bit of a Glen Campbell fan from back in the day, so it was more than just Deathpool interest that had me reading all this.) So as best as I can tell from the news reports, his body’s in no obvious hurry to check out, regardless of the state of his mind.
