Jim O’Toole, a star pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds in the 1960s, died of cancer on Saturday. In 2015 I was determined to at least get on the scoreboard. I picked several “sure things” only to guarantee an extra year of health for my chosen ones. When I made my lists in the past - before discovering this group of people who shared this interest - I always scored a few “long shots” as well as a few “sure things” I could just re-post my 2015 list but that seems a little weak… Here’s to a better 2016 ---

Can’t believe there’s less than 4 days left in the 2015 Death Pool! (Dammit, **RAL** ’s 4-point lead is going to hold up, isn’t it? :p) Have there been any deaths for points since Robert Loggia’s death on December 4? (Marjorie Lord’s death was mentioned on December 12, but belatedly so: she died on November 28.) ---

Jim Breuer just tweeted and then deleted that Lemmy from Motörhead has died. He is friends with the band so he may have inside information. Or maybe he’s wrong. I’m not sure if that would be a unique pick for me. ---
