I’ve been following the Death Pool a few years, and this year I’ve decided to play. Here goes . . . Fidel Castro, because he’s old, and . . . yeah, that’s pretty much it. Dick Cheney, because maybe there is a God. Elizabeth II, because she’s _also_ old. George H W Bush, because waitaminute - he’s still alive?! Arethra Franklin Cormac McCarthy, because being a great writer seems to shorten your lifespan. Phillip Roth, same reason. Charles Manson - marriage can put a lot of stress of a person. Bill Cosby, for rather obvious reasons. BB King, for the same reason as Mr. Bush. Eric Clapton - random guess.
