I can find two references to Golub’s death, but neither is a mainstream news source. The Baen Books Facebook page announced that alternative history author [Robert Conroy](http://www.robertconroybooks.com/about.html) has died due to cancer. Not that I think anyone had him but the only info I see elsewhere is that he was born in 1938. His books always looked interesting but I never got around to reading them. ---

Ellie May Clampett was 81! That shouldn’t surprise me because the numbers add up, but somehow I pictured her as being in her sixties. It’s probably because I haven’t thought of her in twenty years. ---
