While we celebrated James Garner’s death (2nd anniversary) earlier in posts 1029 and 1030; a cast member has died this year. Joe Santos, who starred as Lt. Dennis Becker in The Rockford Files, has died, his agent confirmed to PEOPLE. He was 84. The only way it could have been worse was to be going the wrong way down a oneway street. I saw a guy doing that on a black bicycle, in dark clothes, with no lights. ---

From the article, I get the impression it was motorized. “Dirt bike” is, these days, not a term that is commonly used for bicycles. ---

On the way to work when Clinton was running for President, I missed an out of state car going the wrong way on a one way street that went to the Governor’s mansion. I have wondered what happened when the Secret Service saw a car speeding towards the mansion. I did not hear gunfire. _dammit._ ---
