I’m pretty sure that drugs were involved. No reason, really, except that 45 year old women don’t normally drop dead without some medical problem or drugs being involved (and [TMZ](http://www.tmz.com/2016/04/20/chyna-dead-wwe-legend-dies/) alleges a “possible overdose.” And TMZ is usually pretty accurate.
