By the way, did every Netflix subscriber get an email update regarding a new Patton Oswalt special about ten minutes before this news broke? Creepy. I literally closed that Netflix email and opened this thread in about ten clicks. I thought I had the voodoo. ---

On another forum dedicated to the case a few of the more “imaginative” posters are suspicious. At first I thought they were hinting the killer has come out of retirement, but perhaps their accusations are aimed closer to home. ---

I’m as cynical as the next miserable cuss on this planet, but I wasn’t getting that vibe. The thoughts that immediately ran through my head were of Oswalt’s issues with depression, which he’s been very open about. I’m afraid this will push him over the edge. They have a young daughter. I just hope he doesn’t decide to cash it in for her sake.
