[Bud Spencer, Olympic swimmer and star of many humorous Italian films, including the Trinity spaghetti western series, dies at age 86.](http://www.euronews.com/2016/06/27/italian-actor-and-filmmaker-bud-spencer-dies-at-the-age-of-86/) Some of his movies were favorites of mine as a young teen. He was successful in several fields, and was well-loved. “Big” guys don’t often life long lives, but he made it to the age of 86. Not too shabby. I sure as hell would have settled for that. Two of my favorite movies of his, where he paired with frequent co-star Terence Hill.
