I often see niche celebrities listed here, obscure sports people or long-forgotten musicians whose names I don’t recognise. Now it’s my turn to contribute one. Comic book artist Steve Dillon, who many may know from the _Preacher_ comic, but I know mainly from his many prolific contributions to _2000AD_ through the 80s and 90s, has [died in NY at age 54](http://io9.gizmodo.com/preacher-co-creator-steve-dillon-dead-at-54-1788102990). No details about his death have been given. ---
