I didn’t know that was the same person, my mistake. I searched for all instances of “Gene” and nothing came up. I’ll know from here on that searches don’t take full names into account. ---

But it wasn’t a big secret that ‘Gene’ was often short for ‘Eugene.’ From that same era “Clean for Gene!” with the ‘Gene’ being Sen. Eugene McCarthy. ---

Did anyone have Yanni Alexis Mardas, aka Magic Alex, the engineer with ties to the Beatles? He’s in 18th by the way **Baker** did the rankings. **Idle Thoughts** does them differently. While I agree that the way **Baker** did them makes more sense, because most of us are interested in how many players are ahead of us ( **Baker** ’s rankings), rather than how many distinct scores are ahead of our score ( **Idle Thoughts** ’ rankings), the fact is that we’ve argued this one into the ground, and this is how it is. ---

**Score update** So far… **cardboardbox** is in the lead with 37 points. **Superdude, Labtrash, Andrew 21, GIGOBuster, Dr Girlfriend, Martonio, Mahaloth, FavreCo, Team Dirt, RobotDevilDog, It’s Not Rocket Surgery!, jeezums, Jeep’s Phoenix, Loach, bowler girl, notfrommensa** , and myself ( **Idle Thoughts** ) all have 27 points. And then there’s **Randy Seltzer** in the back (but no less important) with 18 humble points. ---
