If we PM or email our list to phungi, may we consider that he will consider all out picks and inform us it they do not meet the standard for celebrities? I have in mind the 18 year old football player that I picked for 2017 that was found to not qualify. He was found to not have cancer, although I do hope that he steps in front of a truck before New Years Day. ---

Any “questionable” picks will be “held in check” until the first of the year, and then posted for debate. As stated, this is why we have alternates. While I hope folks feel I am trustworthy, I comfortably state that maintain a list throughout the year, adding and subtracting, so will not “poach” from any others’ should they inquire. As for the particular “pick” submitted by PM, my belief is that a professional athlete in a professional sports league passes the “muster” for “celebrity” even if they are not a “star player”, in as much as a [weatherman from a town in CT](http://www.nhregister.com/lifestyle/article/TV-meteorologist-Geoff-Fox-returning-on-air-to-11309324.php) passes muster for “celebrity” even though they are not know to many outside of that town. ---
