Not a 2018 death, but just found out about it: [Thomas Docking](https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/kansas/obituary.aspx?n=thomas-robert-docking&pid=186496324&fhid=4860), former Lt. Governor of Kansas, and unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate (also son and grandson of KS governors) died last August. It hits close to home because this is someone I played with when I was a kid. My grandparents and the Docking family both lived in Arkansas City, KS, and were friends, which is how I knew Tom. My family would celebrate Christmas each year with my Kansas relatives, and we’d usually spend some time visiting the Dockings. ---
