She was a bandwagon pick a few years ago when ominous news about her health came out as the 12/31 deadline for that year was coming up, so I’m surprised there’s not more carryover just from that. I’ve had her on and off my annual list since before that, just based on her appearance looking less and less healthy in recent years. And while of course points is points, RIP, Aretha. ---
